Audits & Reviews

The purpose of a project audit or review is to capture the corporate knowledge developed in the execution of the project and to identify what should become a best practice and what could be done differently in the future in order to help improve the performance of a project or to improve the performance of future projects.

It is generally recommended that an outside facilitator conduct the project audit. This provides the team members and other stakeholders with the opportunity to say what needs to be said without being identified as the source and ensures that the process does not turn into a witch hunt as the audit report contains only the lessons learned which focus on what we do differently next time and what do we continue to do as it was successful.
